On Friday August 14th were are going to have a park day for our group. We will meet around 10 near the play ground at City Park.. bring snacks, kids and fun.. looking forward to seeing some great faces…
This year the La Leche League of Fort Collins is holding there annual Walk for The World Breastfeeding week on August 22nd at City Park from 9am - noon. We have some amazing giveaways from our Sponsors: Hip Mountain Mama, Mothering Magazing, Motherlove, The Healing Gardens Medicinal Store and more to come. If you register and are there for the walk around 9-ish you are entered to win one of our amazing donations. We will have the TRAIN FOR FREE from 10-11. Please join us Wednesday, August 19th from 10-11:00 am. We will meet at 1st Baptist Church*, 900 E Prospect (click link for map) in Fort Collins. You may come as early as 9:30 for individual help and to help set up. The meeting will begin promptly at 10.
Please bring your questions; the planned part of the meeting will focus on overcoming difficulties, but any questions and concerns are “on topic.”

Please join us Tuesday, August 4 from 6:15 to 7:45 pm. We will meet in the community room of the Treetop Yoga Studio, which is on the 2nd floor of Clothes’ Pony and Dandelion Toys at 111 N. College (in Old Town Fort Collins — click for a map). Feel free to drop in and stay the whole time or to leave as needed. This time is meant to be a casual conversation in a warm and relaxing environment! There is a small area for children to play in but childcare will not be provided.
Parking in the garage at Mason & Laporte is a short walk away and free for the first hour ($.50 for each additional hour). Feel free to pass this information on to others who might be interested in coming to an evening meeting. If you have any questions feel free to contact a Leader at 221-7267.

There will be a leader available at 9:30 so if you would like to come and/or have questions before the meeting you are welcome to come. This month we will be discussing Getting Breastfeeding off to a good start. Though we will always address any questions moms might have before so please come with questions.
Please join us Wednesday June 17th at 10am. The meeting is being help at The First Batist Church 900 Prospect. We will be discussing the Advantages of Breastfeeding for mom, baby and the Environment. Please note that any questions you may have will be addressed and answered. If you want to arrive at 9:30 you can have one and one questions and answers with a Leader and if not after the meeting there usually is time.

We will be looking at when baby starts solids to weaning. We will look at what foods are recommended for starting solids up to when baby weans. We will be looking at healthy foods and what is best for baby and Mommy.
