Please check back monthly as we are considering changing our meeting locations in the near future!

Evening Meeting: Breastfeeding Cafe**

We will meet in the community room of the Treetop Yoga Studio, which is on the 2nd floor of Clothes Pony and Dandelion Toys at 111 N. College (in Old Town Fort Collins — click for a map) on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:15-7:45 pm. Feel free to drop in and stay the whole time or to leave as needed. This time is meant to be a casual conversation in a warm and relaxing environment! There is a small area for children to play in but childcare will not be provided.

Parking in the garage at Mason & Laporte is a short walk away and free for the first hour ($.50 for each additional hour).

Please join us Wednesday, February 17 from 10-11:00 am. We will meet at 1st Baptist Church*, 900 E Prospect in Fort Collins.  You may come as early as 9:30 for individual help and to help set up. The meeting will begin promptly at 10.

Babywearing at the Breastfeeding Café

January 11th, 2010

February’s evening meeting (February 2, 6:15-7:45) will feature a “why and how to” of babywearing, including a number of different carriers. BYOC (Bring Your Own Carrier) and/or try the examples provided by Clothes Pony. We will have experienced mothers there to help answer your babywearing questions and help you learn how to wear your baby. If you already babywear please come and share your experience. If you want to learn about different carriers, here is your chance! Accredited Leaders will also be available to answer your questions about breastfeeding.

On Friday August 14th were are going to have a park day for our group. We will meet around 10 near the play ground at City Park.. bring snacks, kids and fun.. looking forward to seeing some great faces…

WORLD WALK FOR BREASTFEEDING 2009!!!

This year the La Leche League of Fort Collins is holding there annual Walk for The World Breastfeeding week on August 22nd at City Park from 9am - noon. We have some amazing giveaways from our Sponsors: Hip Mountain Mama, Mothering Magazing, Motherlove, The Healing Gardens Medicinal Store and more to come. If you register and are there for the walk around 9-ish you are entered to win one of our amazing donations. We will have the TRAIN FOR FREE from 10-11.
